HOT N2 Heater System

The vortex fire suppression system is the newest fire suppression system on the market today. It is a unique combination of mist and clean agent fire suppression technologies. The HOT N2 Heater system uses a combination of water and nitrogen to create an environment that will not sustain combustion but will not harm human occupancy.

The nitrogen in the system serves two purposes. It is stored under pressure and atomizes water droplets to an average size of 10 microns. This fine water vapor cools and absorbs heat from the fire. The nitrogen also reduces the oxygen content in the hazard zone to below 16%, the minimum threshold to support combustion. Human life can be sustained with oxygen concentrations as low as 12%. The goal of a typical vortex fire suppression system is to control the oxygen consumption rate in the room to 14%, a value low enough to eliminate combustion but high enough to sustain human occupancy.

The compact design of the vortex tube in a set with a link plastic tube for directing the cold airflow to the required place, e.g. a cooled turning machine, textile needle, etc.

It can be used on a magnetic platform allowing simple installation on machines.

Today's small, compact multi-function electronic controls, variable speed drives, servos, and programmable logic controllers are extremely sensitive to heat and contamination. Smaller cabinet sizes make temperature control difficult and prone to premature failures. Excessive heat will cause digital displays to misread, controls to drift, and breakers to trip below-rated loads. The result is productivity lost due to machine or line shutdowns.

Vortex Enclosure Coolers maintain a slight pressurization in the cabinet to keep electrical and electronic components clean and dry, and most are thermostatically controlled to maintain enclosure temperatures within a specified temperature range.
