Sheath Diameter Thermocouple
Sheath diameter thermocouple uses shielded thermocouple wire, the common length is 500mm, the sheath diameter is Φ3~Φ8mm, it has the characteristics of flexibility, high pressure resistance, fast thermal response time, long service life, etc. K-type thermocouple can directly measure the temperature of liquid, steam, gas medium and solid surface in the range of 0~950℃ in various production processes.
As a temperature sensor, thermocouple is usually used with display instruments, recording instruments and signal conditioners. Sheath thermocouple also can be used as a temperature sensing element for assembly thermocouple.
Sheath diameter thermocouple features 3/16" diameter sheath, 24 gauge stranded glass wire with stainless steel braid, ground connector, and bifurcated lead ends. Rigid sheath thermocouples provide protection and accurate placement through bulkheads or pressure plates.
May be used with compression fittings for waterproof immersion applications. Curved rigid tubing provides protection and allows accurate lead placement around machinery.

• Beware it may cause an abnomally high temperature and result in a premature wire breakage, if low in degree of adhesion to workpiece.
• Ask your sales representatives to consult with the case the heater use bonded to workpiece.
• Do not apply excessive external forces(traction, bending, etc) onto lead wire joint.
• Do not heat without contact to workpiece.
• Do not place heaters on top of each other when in operation
